The problem is down to the chip in the USB programming lead, I tried at least 10 or more drivers for my Wouxun KG-UV6D, before I found one that worked with my opersting system, so you may have to search all over The Internet for a driver that works, or should I say installs ok. Now if you have the USB programming lead as most people do, then you possibly may/will have problems getting the driver to install. Also don't forget before you connect your programming lead you must or should have installed the driver for your operating system, this is also on the WEB site. So I did a search for you and have come up with this site which has all of what you are looking for. I have not been on "this" forum for very long, however, I am sure if you had done a search you would have found what you are looking for, also "Google" come to mind!Īnyway, this is not going to help you sort out your problem.
